Common Reasons Why AC is Not Cooling Up – Best AC Repair Ideas in Ontario

You may have experienced the problem of blowing out hot air from your air conditioning unit. There may be some reasons why your air conditioning unit is not functioning properly. This issue can be a problem, especially during hot summers.

Here is how you can get your AC Repair in Ontario and fix it to cool your room.

Know why your AC is not cooling

Dirty air filter

A dry and unclean air filter is the most common reason why your window AC is not cooling your room efficiently. If the AC filter is filled with dust and dirt, several issues can arise. It would affect the working of the thermostat.

The Ontario Heating and Air Conditioning Specialists can help you to remove dirt from the ducts of the air conditioning unit. This dirt could freeze the evaporator coil and block the passage of cool air.

Solution: It is recommended to check the AC filter and clean it or change it if clogged.

Incorrect thermostat setting

You should check the AC thermostat if your split or window cooling is not working efficiently. In this case, the AC unit blows out lukewarm air. You should turn the thermostat settings to auto mode in such a situation, and then the fan will blow cold air.

Solution: Always keep the AC thermostat in auto mode to keep your AC cool.

Dirty outside unit

An unclean outside unit can also hamper the efficiency of your AC.

1. The evaporator (inside unit) - Absorbs heat and transfers it to the outside air conditioning unit.

2. Condenser (outside unit) - Condenses the hot air into cool air.

A clogged condenser cannot efficiently cool the AC unit, as debris and dirt will block heat transfer.

Solution: The HVAC Services and Repairs in Ontario renders all the necessary services to make your AC unit work properly. Our professionals clean the condenser by removing weed and dirt and offer all other required services at low costs.
